A very friendly sailing club with racing throughout the year, training and social events. Also supports SUPPs

Wife was paddle boarding today, I enjoyed the view and piece nd quiet. Very nice just needs to accept Disabled people need some consideration, long walk from the public car park and no disabled toilets advertised.

My boys have both learnt to sail at Barnt Green Sailing club. It is an idyllic location very quiet and family friendly. The club members go out of their way to make you feel welcome and my boys had a great time. They have been back to book more courses and worked from level 1 to start racing . Would highly recommend this for any parents looking for childrens sailing lessons

Lovely family club, with affordable training for all levels of sail and power boats. Had lots of very enjoyable days sailing at this club. New members welcome

Please note that this review is not about the Boat Club but the walks in its vicinity. At present the footpaths are in a dreadful state. Wet winter weather often renders the footpaths muddy and unpleasant. Since the advent of Covid 19 many more people have been walking in the area and this has inevitably caused some erosion. My suggestion would be to avoid the area unless there is a hard frost or wait until later in the year when paths have recovered.

Terrible service, i came back a year later after my previous assault. What i found was truly horrifying, the large lady who previously tried to eat me chased after me once she recognised who i was. She again tried setting their poor german shephard dog onto me but once again, he simply wanted a stroke. The drunk man later came out of the cottage, broken bottle in hand, he swung and tried to glass me. I said "i see you know your judo well" he tried swatting me again with the glass bottle and i said "THIS IS DEMOCRACY MANIFEST!!" i was simply trying to enjoy my succulent chinese meal and all these people were attacking me just for being near the pond they believe they own.

I'm saddened really by the "elite" that think themselves above everyone else.
On the way to the rowing club your bombarded with private signs, signs to say don't feed the duck, don't have picnics, blah blah blah.... Never, in 50 years have I witnessed an open area such as this enforce such draconian rules... Seems the gates now has signage telling you to make sure the gates are closed by members once passed through? Maybe 2 strangers have dared drive up there in last 25 years so now no ones allowed.
My experience on meeting staff/owners are not good ones, controlling, pompous and arrogant.....
There is no love for Joe public here, this is a club for the haves and its always been my experience they treat any non members as garbage... Friendly only to their own breed.
It's not for the public, if you like long walks and happy not having a picnic, not feeding the birds and like knowing your not welcome because you'll never be in the club stick to the licky Hills, I'd love to see this place sold off and turned into open house for the public. These people sicken me to the core.
Remind me of the stuck up elite living in Barnt Green.....
Honestly, it's boring, drole, stuck up and not worth your time... Oh, did I mention the amounts of fencing put up over the years so the kids can't have any exploratory fun? Ugly high spiked fences everywhere..... Im suprised there isn't armed guards on specially build walls all around the place.
I'd love to see this place bankrupt
